Pudong Procuratorate introduced that on June 30, 65438, Yuan Mou, a regional salesperson of an environmental protection technology company in Shanghai, wanted to wholesale a batch of masks for corporate customers, and found a WeChat merchant who claimed to sell masks in a post bar on the Internet. The two sides agreed to buy 400,000 disposable medical masks at a price of 90 cents. During the period, the merchants sent Yuan pictures of medical masks, packaging express videos and certificates, which made him convinced. After Yuan paid a deposit of 87,000 yuan through WeChat transfer, he added the order again and transferred 30,000 yuan. After receiving the advance payment, the merchant asked Yuan to pick up the goods in Yangzhou himself. When she arrived in Yangzhou, she couldn't find a place to pick up the goods, and WeChat was hacked, so she found herself cheated and called the police.
On February 5, the suspect Huang Zhibo was arrested by the public security organs in Lufeng City, Guangdong Province. After arriving at the case, he truthfully confessed the above fraud crime and two other fraud facts.
After the incident, the procuratorate of Pudong New Area intervened in advance for the first time, and assigned prosecutors to discuss the case with the public security organs, guide evidence collection and put forward investigation opinions.
On February 17, the public security organ transferred Huang Zhibo for examination and arrest on suspicion of fraud, and the Pudong New Area Procuratorate undertook the prosecutor's quick handling. After examination, it is believed that the criminal suspect Huang Zhibo fabricated the fact of selling masks for the purpose of illegal possession during the epidemic prevention and control period, and defrauded others of property, with a huge amount. His behavior has violated Article 266 of the Criminal Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), which constitutes the crime of fraud. On the day he received the case, he made a decision to approve the arrest.
