Yanshan College of Shandong University of Economics, founded by Shandong University of Economics and Shandong Gold Group Co., Ltd. in 2005, is an independent college approved by the Ministry of Education. The college adheres to the guiding ideology of taking teaching as the center, perfecting comprehensive service function as the foundation, standardizing teaching order and improving the quality of education and teaching, and strives to cultivate high-quality applied skilled talents with solid foundation, wide application, innovative spirit and practical ability for economic and social development. Yanshan College is located in the south of the east end of Shi Jing East Road in Jinan, with beautiful environment and convenient transportation. European-style buildings of the same color on campus have complete modern teaching facilities. With a collection of 240,000 books, the library can share high-quality teaching resources with Mingshui New Campus of Shandong University of Economics, fully meet the teaching needs and provide excellent learning environment for students.

The college has a standardized experimental teaching center, focusing on cultivating students' practical ability. Based on the whole life cycle of the enterprise, the center simulates the main business processes. The laboratory equipment is scientific and advanced, with three manual laboratories such as accounting manual simulation laboratory, simulation bank and enterprise behavior simulation laboratory, and two electronic laboratories such as securities and futures simulation and international trade simulation. The two electronic laboratories are equipped with accounting computerization and ERP management software at the same time, and integrated closed management is implemented.

Relying on the faculty of Shandong University of Economics, the college has established a high-level faculty that can meet the teaching requirements and ensure the teaching quality. Relying on the existing superior disciplines and majors of Shandong University of Economics, the College has six departments, including accounting department, business administration department, finance department, international trade department, information management department and computer science and technology department, with undergraduate majors 1 1 and three specialist majors.
