Types of titanium alloys
Titanium alloy is an important structural metal with high strength, good corrosion resistance and high heat resistance. Mainly used for manufacturing aircraft, engines, compressors and other parts. In fact, titanium alloys are gradually being used to make people's livelihood products and benefit people's lives. Doors and windows have a lot to do with sealing, lighting, ventilation and sound insulation. At present, titanium alloy doors and windows stand out among many door and window materials because of their good decorative effect and excellent performance, and are widely used in modern homes.

I. Types of Titanium Alloys

At room temperature, titanium alloys have three matrix structures, and titanium can be divided into the following three categories: α alloy, (α+β) alloy and β alloy. In China, they are represented by TA, TC and TB respectively.

1, α alloy

It is a single-phase alloy composed of α-phase solid solution, which is α-phase at normal temperature and high practical application temperature, with stable structure, higher wear resistance than pure titanium and strong oxidation resistance. At the temperature of 500℃ ~ 600℃, its strength and creep resistance remain unchanged, but it cannot be strengthened by heat treatment, and its room temperature strength is not high.

2, beta alloy

It is a single-phase alloy composed of β -phase solid solution, which has high strength without heat treatment. After quenching and aging, the alloy is further strengthened, and the room temperature strength can reach 1372 ~ 1666 MPa. However, it has poor thermal stability and is not suitable for use at high temperature.

3.α+β alloy

It is a dual-phase alloy with good comprehensive properties, good organizational stability, good toughness, plasticity and high-temperature deformation properties, and can be well strengthened by hot pressing, quenching, aging and other processes. The strength after heat treatment is about 50% ~ 100% higher than that after annealing. It has high high temperature strength, can work at 400℃ ~ 500℃ for a long time, and its thermal stability is not as good as that of α alloy.

Second, the characteristics of titanium alloy sliding door

1. Titanium alloys used in titanium alloy sliding doors have outstanding performance characteristics and are widely used in many fields, especially in aerospace industry. As a new structural material, it not only has strong bearing capacity, but also has a temperature range no less than that of aluminum and steel. High strength, good acid and alkali resistance, low temperature resistance, and continuous use in building materials production.

2. Titanium alloy is an easy-to-extrude profile, so the section size is very accurate and the machinability is high. In the manufacture of sliding doors, sealing materials with good performance, such as rubber or silicone sealants, are used for fixing.

3. Compared with wooden doors, titanium alloy sliding doors have more advantages in environmental protection. Wooden doors often need to be painted in the production process, which is easy to produce certain formaldehyde pollution and may cause harm to human body when used. However, the materials used in titanium alloy sliding doors are environmentally friendly, nontoxic and tasteless, so there is no need to worry about the generation of harmful substances. In addition, compared with the flammability and non-fire resistance of wooden doors, titanium alloy sliding doors have great flame retardant effect and certain fire resistance.

4. Kitchen and bathroom space is the place we need to use every day, and it is also the space with the most water vapor. If wooden door products are used, problems such as damp, mildew and deformation will inevitably occur. However, if titanium alloy sliding door is used, not only the moisture-proof performance is greatly improved, but also it is not affected by the weather. Even in the rainy season in the south of the Yangtze River, sliding doors made of this material can last for decades.

The kitchen and bathroom space is also the place where the whole house produces the most noise. Whether taking a bath or cooking, there is some interference. However, if titanium alloy sliding doors are used, the sound will be effectively blocked due to the internal mesh structure, which is more prominent than other kitchen and bathroom doors in terms of sound insulation.

Doors and windows are very important materials in home decoration, which not only have the functions of opening and closing channels and dividing patterns, but also have strong decorative functions. Therefore, there is more than one aspect to consider when purchasing, and you should know something about different materials and different types of bedroom doors. Is everyone aware of the advantages of using titanium alloy sliding doors introduced above?
