Tianjin Arbitration Commission is the only arbitration institution for economic disputes in our city established on September 28th according to the Arbitration Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), 1995. Tianjin Arbitration Commission accepts contract disputes and other property rights disputes between citizens, legal persons and other organizations with equal subjects. Arbitration shall be conducted in the fields of economy, technology, real estate transaction, intellectual property, product quality responsibility, construction engineering, transportation, finance, insurance, futures, securities, foreign-related economic and trade, transportation and maritime affairs according to the arbitration agreement concluded by the parties and a written application for arbitration by one party. Arbitration shall be subject to the one-award final system. The arbitration procedure is simple and the arbitration award has legal effect.

The model clause of contract arbitration recommended by Tianjin Arbitration Commission to various economic and trade circles is: "Any dispute arising from the performance of this contract shall be settled by both parties through consultation; If negotiation fails, it shall be submitted to Tianjin Arbitration Commission for arbitration ".

Tianjin Arbitration Commission has a mediation center of Tianjin Arbitration Commission, which helps the parties to solve contract disputes and other property rights disputes fairly, conveniently and economically through mediation, and promotes economic exchanges and cooperation between the parties.
