Why should foreign exchange futures be settled every day?
There is not much difference. Foreign exchange futures are developed from forward foreign exchange. The small difference is that the foreign exchange forward contract is agreed by both parties, and its amount, duration and cost are agreed by both parties. Therefore, even the same currency, such as the US dollar against the euro, will have different foreign exchange forward contracts. Foreign exchange futures contracts are uniformly formulated by futures exchanges, and their amount, duration and fees are fixed.
