Being able to engage in futures business with a qualification certificate for futures business is the entry threshold for entering the futures industry. According to the Measures for the Administration of Futures Practitioners, persons who have not obtained the qualification shall not engage in futures business activities in institutions. At the same time, the institution shall not appoint persons who are not qualified to engage in futures business.

To obtain the qualification certificate of futures, you must take the qualification examination for futures practitioners organized by China Futures Association.

The qualification examination for futures practitioners includes three subjects: basic knowledge of futures, futures laws and regulations and futures investment analysis.

The exam adopts closed-book and computer-based exams, all of which are objective multiple-choice questions. The full score is 100, and 60 is a qualified score.
