AirBridgeCargo Airlines is the first scheduled cargo airline in Russia. In May 2004, it made its first flight with a Boeing 747 under the brand of "Airbridge Cargo Airlines". Before the maiden voyage, the company made preparations for two years, including formulating the development strategy of regular freight projects within the scope of the "Volga-Dnieper" group company, forming a fleet, recruiting and training crew members, and forming a management team.
Today, Air Bridge is the largest scheduled cargo airline in Russia, providing scheduled flights from Asia to Europe and the United States via Russia. The flight is operated by Boeing 747 series freighters. It is worth noting that Kongqiao Airlines became the first Russian cargo airline to operate this model. At present, Hangqiao has 12 aircraft, including 5 Boeing 747-400ERF aircraft, 3 Boeing 747-400F aircraft and 4 new-generation long-range Boeing 747-8F freighters. The average age of the air bridge aviation fleet is 4 years.
