According to Article 71 of Chapter 5 of the Measures for the Administration of Futures Exchanges, futures exchanges can accept the following securities as collateral: (1) Standard warehouse receipts recognized by futures exchanges; (2) negotiable national debt; (3) Other securities recognized by the China Securities Regulatory Commission. Where the securities specified in the preceding paragraph are used to offset the deposit, the offset period shall not exceed the effective period of the securities.
