What are the forms of warehouse receipt business?
Warehouse receipt business includes the following forms, as follows:

1. Warehouse receipt issuance: the warehouse or its authorized warehousing enterprise issues warehouse receipts according to the prescribed procedures to prove the ownership and quantity of the goods stored in its warehouse;

2. Warehouse receipt trading: warehouse receipt holders can buy and sell through the trading market to realize the circulation and trading of goods;

3. Warehouse receipt inquiry: warehouses or other designated institutions can provide warehouse receipt inquiry services to confirm the stock and ownership of goods;

4. Transfer of warehouse receipt: the holder of warehouse receipt can transfer his rights to others to realize the circulation and transfer of goods.

Warehouse receipt business is generally involved by warehouses, banks, trading institutions and other institutions, and is an indispensable part of trade and finance.

Warehouse receipt service refers to the business of selling, purchasing and adjusting warehouse receipts according to the different needs of industrial customers, or helping customers organize goods in the spot market, generate standard warehouse receipts and sell them to customers; Or obtain warehouse receipts through delivery in the futures market and transfer them to customers; Or after purchasing the customer's warehouse receipt, it will be repurchased by the customer after a certain period of time according to the contract; Or according to the specific needs of different customers, exchange warehouse receipts between different customers to obtain price difference income or service income.

The purchase, repurchase and sale of warehouse receipts are all based on the purchase and sale of standard warehouse receipts. The warehouse receipt business agreement is signed with the customer through the company's current service department, and the delivery, purchase and sale of warehouse receipts are realized according to the agreement.

There are three modes of warehouse receipt service:

1. Contract repurchase for warehouse receipt service: Contract repurchase belongs to the warehouse receipt service business in the pilot business, and its business process is that when the warehouse receipt transferring enterprise (customer) sells the warehouse receipt to the warehouse receipt transferee enterprise (risk management company), a repurchase agreement is signed at the same time, and the relevant provisions of the repurchase business model are stipulated. The subsidiary pays the money according to the agreed proportion, and after the project expires, both parties complete the transfer of warehouse receipt ownership;

2. Warehouse receipt pledge of warehouse receipt service: Warehouse receipt pledge also belongs to the warehouse receipt service business in the pilot business. Warehouse receipt pledge business is mainly a short-term financing business in which customers transfer their standard warehouse receipts to subsidiaries as financing guarantees, and subsidiaries provide customers with a certain proportion of funds according to the pledged standard warehouse receipts;

3. Warehouse receipt exchange in warehouse receipt service: Warehouse receipt exchange means that the delivery grade or delivery location of standard warehouse receipts in the hands of customers does not meet their own needs, and they meet their own needs by exchanging warehouse receipts of the same commodity with other customers who meet their own needs.

The warehouse receipt has the following functions:

1, warehouse receipt is the goods receipt sent by the custodian to the depositor. When the goods delivered by the depositor are accepted by the custodian, the custodian will fill in and issue the warehouse receipt to the depositor. The warehouse receipt is the evidence that the custodian receives the goods according to the conditions specified in the warehouse receipt;

2. The warehouse receipt is the proof of the existence of the warehouse contract. Warehouse receipt is a proof of the existence of the warehouse contract concluded between the depositor and the custodian. As long as the warehouse receipt is issued, it proves the existence of the contract;

The warehouse receipt is the proof of the ownership of the goods. It represents the goods listed on the warehouse receipt. Whoever owns the warehouse receipt is equal to owning the goods. The holder of the warehouse receipt has the right to ask the custodian to return the goods and dispose of the goods listed on the warehouse receipt. The transfer of warehouse receipts, that is, the transfer of ownership of stored goods;

4. Warehouse receipt is the proof of delivery. The holder of the warehouse receipt shall present the warehouse receipt when taking delivery of the goods from the custodian. Once the depository issues the warehouse receipt, the holder must not only present the warehouse receipt, but also return it. If the holder of the warehouse receipt is a third party, and the third party fails to produce the warehouse receipt, the depository shall refuse to return the goods except to prove its identity of taking delivery.

To sum up, the warehouse receipt proves the fact that the depositor has delivered the goods and the custodian has received the goods. As goods securities, the depositor or warehouse receipt holder can pick up the goods with the warehouse receipt at the expiration of the storage period, and can also endorse and transfer the rights represented by the warehouse receipt.

Article 909 of the Civil Code of People's Republic of China (PRC)

The depository shall sign or seal the warehouse receipt. Warehouse receipts include the following items:

(1) the name and domicile of the depositor;

(2) The variety, quantity, quality, packaging, number of packages and marks of the goods to be stored;

(three) the loss standard of the stored goods;

(4) storage places;

(5) storage period;

(6) storage fees;

(7) Where the warehousing goods have been insured, the insured amount, term and name of the insurer;

(8) Issuer, place and date.
