Is the main closing price of HSI futures the opening price of the next day?
No. Because there is a settlement price. According to the settlement rules of China's commodity futures exchange, after the end of each trading day, the price marked by the yellow line on the time-sharing chart is used as the settlement price to determine the profit level of both long and short sides on that trading day. This price is called the settlement price, so the closing price of Hang Seng Index futures is not the closing price, nor is it the opening price of the next day.
