Therefore, once the qualification certificate expires, road transport practitioners need to go to the driving school to make up the exam.
After the expiration of the qualification certificate, if it is less than 3 months, you can apply for a replacement normally. For more than 3 months, the driver's license will be cancelled; After the qualification certificate expires, the cardholder must re-register at the driving school with his ID card, driver's license and photo. After passing the examination, get the road transport qualification certificate.
Failing to apply for renewal of the qualification certificate after the validity period 180 days. If the qualification certificate is cancelled, it shall be withdrawn by the issuing authority, announced invalid and registered for the record; If it cannot be recovered, the qualification certificate will automatically become invalid.
In violation of the law, the road transport management institution at or above the county level shall order it to make corrections and impose a fine; If a crime is constituted, criminal responsibility shall be investigated according to law.

Article 29
The validity period of the qualification certificate for road transport practitioners is 6 years. Road transport practitioners shall go through the replacement procedures at the original issuing authority 30 days before the expiration of the qualification certificate.
If the qualification certificate of road transport practitioners is lost or damaged, it shall be reissued at the original issuing authority.
If the information such as the service unit of road transport practitioners changes, it shall go through the formalities for changing the qualification certificate at the competent department of transportation. Where a road transport practitioner applies for job transfer, the competent department of transportation at the place of acceptance shall, after inquiring and verifying the information of the corresponding qualification certificate, reissue the qualification certificate and establish a file, recover the original certificate and notify the original issuing authority to cancel the original certificate and put it on record.
Article 32
Road transport practitioners in any of the following circumstances, the issuing authority shall cancel its qualification certificate:
(1) The holder dies;
(2) The holder applies for cancellation;
(3) Drivers of commercial road passenger and freight transport and employees of road dangerous goods transport are over 60 years old;
(four) the motor vehicle driver's license of the commercial road passenger and freight transport driver and the road dangerous goods transport driver is cancelled or revoked;
(5) Failing to apply for renewal of the qualification certificate after the expiration of the validity period 180 days.
If the qualification certificate is cancelled, it shall be withdrawn by the issuing authority, declared invalid and registered for the record; If it cannot be recovered, the qualification certificate will automatically become invalid.
