In February 2006, it became one of the first three mainland futures companies approved by China Securities Regulatory Commission to set up branches in Hongkong. On June 16, the company and Hong Kong Sun Hung Kai Financial Group held a grand signing ceremony for the establishment of "China New yongan futures Company". China New yongan futures Company became the first joint venture futures company established in Hong Kong with a registered capital of HK$ 654,380,000. The company contributed HK$ 7.5 million and Sun Hung Kai contributed HK$ 2.5 million. On April 20th, 2007, China New yongan futures Company was officially licensed by the Hong Kong Securities Regulatory Commission (SFC) to engage in regulated activities corresponding to the license. It mainly includes futures trading and consulting, overseas commodity and financial futures brokerage business recognized by Hong Kong local and Hong Kong Securities Regulatory Commission.
