Laos imposes tariffs on coal exports to China. Commodities exported to Laos need to pay 0%-40% tariff, because Laos belongs to ASEAN countries, and China has zero tariff on many products from ASEAN countries. However, Laos currently adopts six tariff rates: 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 30% and 40%, among which the EU gives Laos the highest degree of preferential treatment, and all those who enter the EU market.
