Futures itself can be short, and the views on the market are quite different. It's hard to tell what futures traders think when new varieties are first listed. It is also normal to fall after listing.
This is not quite the same as stocks. New varieties in stocks tend to rise. After all, there will be more traders optimistic about the target. Therefore, for new futures varieties and retail investors who are not spot traders and have small funds, it will be better to wait and see.
