US stock trading hours correspond to China time

U.S. stock trading is divided into summer time and winter time. Daylight saving time is from March to November, and it is 8:30 am-3:00 pm Eastern Time in the United States. This time is 9 pm Beijing time: 30 - 4:00 am the next day, the trading time is 6 and a half hours, and the market is not closed in between.

Winter time is from November to March of the following year, from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm Eastern Time in the United States, which is equivalent to 10:30 pm in Beijing to 5:00 am the next morning. The trading time is 6 and a half hours, with no market breaks in between.

US stocks have the same closing and opening times as A-shares, but they are different in time. The opening time of US stocks is equivalent to the evening in China.

In terms of market closures, the regulations for U.S. stocks and domestic A-shares are similar. Mondays and Fridays open normally and are normal trading days, while weekends are routinely closed. In terms of holidays, it is the same as the Chinese stock market. During traditional American holidays such as Christmas and Easter, the U.S. stock market is also closed.

How to trade US stocks?

When trading, you first need to open U.S. stock trading permissions, then open an account online, choose a broker, and finally apply as an Asia-Pacific resident. You can also open an account on a third-party platform.

When trading, please note that my country implements a T+1 trading model, while U.S. stocks implement a T+0 trading model. U.S. stocks are bought on the same day and sold on the same day.
