What was the currency in the Eastern Han Dynasty?
In the early and middle period of the Eastern Han Dynasty, social unrest and currency disorder occurred in the early years of the Eastern Han Dynasty. In the sixth year of Jianwu (30 years), Gongsun Shu issued five baht of iron in Sichuan, and even some places used cloth, silk and golden millet for miscellaneous purposes. It was not until the sixteenth year of Jianwu (40 years) that the five baht was recast.

Jianwu is five baht. The diameter of money is 2.6cm, which is lighter than the five baht in Lu Han, and is generally 3 grams. 1.9 grams of small copper is reddish, beautifully cast, with flat ammonium surface and contours. Qian Wen is clear and delicate. The gold prefix of the word "baht" is enlarged into a triangle, and the four points on the side of the gold prefix are slightly longer and marked with individual money.

After Guangwu, Ming Di and Zhang Di (58-88) may follow Jianwu Qian Fan. At the bottom of the river (89- 105), the quality of five baht money gradually declined, and the largest was less than 3 grams, mostly around 2 grams. During the 50 years after the founding of the People's Republic of China, due to the development of natural economy in Di Feng Manor, the relationship between commodities and money was not as active as in the Western Han Dynasty, and the monetary system did not change much.

After the mid-Eastern Han Dynasty, prices rose, the currency depreciated, and five baht was not well made, and "cutting round five baht" and "hanging five baht" appeared one after another. The latter is often found in tombs in the late Eastern Han Dynasty.

At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, after the peasant uprising, the ruling regime was crumbling.

Emperor Huan is five baht. Five baht (147- 167) of Emperor Huan passed through the period of Huanling, with light handwriting, thick strokes and many scars on the meat surface, weighing about 2.5g.

It costs five baht to cut the wheel. Lingdi Jianning (168- 172) is the most popular. The outline of the money was cut off, leaving only the inner ring, and some Qian Wen left half a word each.

It's five baht Five baht cut off the inner ring, leaving only the outer ring, so it is called boat ring plating, and when it is cut into two dollars, the bad money method can be seen.

Four of the five baht. Zhong Ping, the spirit emperor, was cast in the third year (i85), with a diameter of 2.5cm and a weight of 3.5g. It was engraved with the words "Five baht", and four straight lines were cast on the four corners of the back of the money to connect with the surrounding outline, which was called "Four Outlets". The copper color is yellow and white, and the copper quality is poor. There are many sand holes on the back of the money. The quality of money is relatively good, so it should not be equated with bad money to distinguish it from 1 day money. At that time, people said that money was a sign of chaos in the world and reflected the social unrest at that time.

Dong Zhuo has small money. Also known as Dong Zhuo's poor money, it was cast at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty and the beginning of Pingnian in Xian Di (190- 194). Dong Zhuo occupied Chang 'an and took money from the Taishijin people. Light and raw, without words, the meat is very rough and has not been filtered by mushrooms. Money is thinner, like goose eyes, and the diagonal valley is worth tens of millions. Since then, prices have soared, money and materials have failed, and the Eastern Han Dynasty has existed in name only.

There are many five baht handed down and unearthed in Han Dynasty, which can be seen everywhere. Some special forms of "five baht", such as overlapping words, unfolding and folding, are often welcomed by coin lovers.
