The seven carbon emissions exchanges are: Guangzhou Carbon Emissions Exchange, Shenzhen Carbon Emissions Exchange, Beijing Environmental Exchange, Shanghai Environmental Energy Exchange, Hubei Carbon Emissions Exchange, Tianjin Carbon Emissions Exchange and Chongqing Carbon Emissions Exchange.
The first domestic carbon emission trading market was launched in Shenzhen on June 20 18 13, and the carbon emission trading in China entered the operational stage. Since then, Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Guangdong, Hubei, Chongqing and other provinces and cities have successively launched pilot carbon emission trading. The first stage of carbon emission trading involves 16 industries, including steel, petrochemical, nonferrous metals and electric power 10 industrial industries and 6 non-industrial industries such as aviation, ports, airports and hotels.
