Light cycle oil is a kind of light oil, abbreviated as LCO in English, which comes from catalytic cracking (FCC) unit and belongs to intermediate cycle material in crude oil production. Light cycle oil is a kind of diesel base oil, which can be processed into diesel oil by hydrodesulfurization and other processes to blend diesel oil. With the continuous optimization of processing technology of blending oil merchants, light cycle oil has been blended in Southeast Asia, and can be directly used by offshore ships after import. Compared with diesel oil, the sulfur content, density, carbon residue and other indicators are slightly larger, and the cetane number is smaller. The total aromatic hydrocarbon content is above 50% (only other similar products with aromatic hydrocarbon components exceeding non-aromatic hydrocarbon components will be classified as light cycle oil), and the main and auxiliary engines of high-power fishing boats and cargo ships can be directly used or used to blend 0 # ordinary diesel oil.
