Intercontinental Exchange of Canada was established in 1887, formerly known as Winnipeg Grain and Agricultural Products Exchange. Since 1904, it has provided futures contract trading services, and in 2007, it became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange. It is Canada's leading agricultural product exchange and the first all-electronic exchange in North America.
Intercontinental Exchange of Canada offered rapeseed oil futures and options contracts with global pricing benchmark, and re-introduced wheat futures to the Canadian market on 20 12 1 month after 70 years.
