Zhu Zhigang, 1960 was born in Wuhan, Hubei province, and 1985 graduated from the plastic arts department of Wuxi Institute of Light Industry. He is currently the president of Jiangnan Oil Painting Sculpture Institute, the vice chairman of Xu Beihong Art Committee, an associate professor of Jiangnan University, a researcher of Jiangnan University Painting and Calligraphy Institute, and the vice chairman of Gu Kaizhi Research Association.
