Shenzhen Stock Exchange charges 0.0696‰ of the transaction amount instead of 0.087‰ at present.
On July 1 day, 2005, in order to further reduce the transaction cost of investors, the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges and China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation, after research, intend to reduce the fees related to A-share transaction settlement.
The handling fee charged by Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges for A-share transactions was adjusted from 0.0696‰ to 0.0487‰, a decrease of 30%. The handling fee charged for B-share transactions is adjusted from 0.30 1‰ of the transaction amount to 0.0487‰ of the transaction amount.
Of the 0.0487‰, 0.00974‰ was transferred to the investor protection fund and 0.03896‰ was collected by the Exchange. The transfer fees of A-share transactions charged by China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation is charged from 0.3‰ of the face value of the Shanghai stock exchange and 0.0255‰ of the Shenzhen stock exchange, both of which are adjusted to 0.02‰ of the transaction amount.
