This standard specifies the quality indexes, grading standards and inspection methods of yellow corn delivered by Dalian Commodity Exchange.

This standard is applicable to the delivery standards and substitutes of corn futures contracts in Dalian Commodity Exchange.

The definitions adopted in this standard are interpreted according to GB 1353-2009 and GB/T 20570-2006.

Four quality indicators

4. 1 Quality and technical requirements of delivery standards for corn futures contracts:

Bulk density /(g/L) Impurity content (%) Moisture content (%) Bad particle content (%) Total odor, in which: moldy particles ≥ 650 ≤1.0 ≤14.0 ≤ 8.0 ≤ 2.0 is normal.

4.2 Price deduction for quality difference of corn futures contract:

After deducting the project standard product quality requirements and substitute quality requirements (yuan/ton), the bulk density /(g/L)≥650≥620 and < 650-20 moisture /(%) ≤ 14.0 > 14.0 and < 14.50 moldy particles.

4.3 Technical requirements for corn storage quality: storage index, suitable for storage; Outbound indicators should be maintained or moderately inappropriate.

4.4 The allowable range of the total number of imperfect corn grains delivered in bulk grain is ≤ 1 1%.

4.5 Health inspection and plant quarantine shall be carried out in accordance with relevant national standards and regulations.
