Article 29 of the Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Futures Companies stipulates that when a futures company applies for the establishment, acquisition or equity participation of an overseas futures operation institution, it shall go through the formalities of foreign exchange registration, transfer of relevant funds and settlement and purchase of foreign exchange in accordance with the relevant provisions of the foreign exchange administration department.
