What exchange is CBOT?
CBOT refers to the Chicago Board of Trade, which is short for Chicago Board of Trade. In the early stage of development, CBOT mainly traded agricultural products, such as corn, wheat, oats and soybeans. Chicago Board of Trade is the origin of modern futures. 1848, 82 businessmen jointly established the Chicago Board of Trade to reduce the price risk of grain trading.
The futures varieties of CBOT are the most authoritative futures varieties in the world at present, and their prices are also the most authoritative futures prices.
At present, CBOT has merged with other exchanges: on July 12, 2007, CBOT merged with CME (abbreviation of Chicago Mercantile Exchange) to become the largest derivatives exchange in the world, namely Chicago Mercantile Exchange Group.
