How to invest convertible bonds?
There are three main ways to invest in convertible bonds: issuing new bonds, buying convertible bonds immediately and buying convertible bond funds. Convertible bonds are traded like stocks. Just enter the code and amount of convertible bonds directly at the opening, and click Buy. Convertible bonds are traded on T+0 day, that is, they can be sold on the day of purchase, and the price is not limited.
Convertible bonds have the property of repaying principal and interest at maturity, so their prices are usually not much lower than their face value. For investors, the coupon rate of convertible bonds is usually much lower than that of ordinary bonds, mainly because of the option value attached to convertible bonds. It should be noted that the interest rate of convertible bonds in the last year will change according to the reasons for the delisting of convertible bonds.
