I know a friend in Wuxi. He runs a steel pipe processing factory. He has run this factory for 20 years. Finally, the factory lost money, so he had to close down.

A factory ordered 300 kilograms of finished rolled pipes from him, and the payment was more than 3,000 yuan. A friend in Wuxi gave the buyer 10 thousand yuan. As a result, the buyer was later transferred from his post, and Wuxi friends had to admit that they were unlucky. I told him that you can't do business like this. You only have a business of more than 3000 yuan. How can you give a gift of 10 thousand yuan? He said, I want to do the following business with him. I said, you can't proceed to the next step until you get the payment from the other party. You are too impatient. However, this "kickback" business is risky and should not be done.

This is the first story. Let's talk about the second story, or the story of this Wuxi friend.

In order to express his gratitude, he bought five suits for the leaders of the industrial and commercial bureau, all of which cost nearly ten thousand yuan. I said to him, you are so extravagant, do you settle accounts? He said, for example, this house is not cheap, and now I have given five sets, and I have a good relationship with them. They will care about me in the future.

Be careful in business and don't spend money indiscriminately. After I opened the factory, I set myself "three principles of receiving customers", one of which is not to take customers into the ballroom to play, because it doesn't cost much to invite customers to eat a meal, but going to the ballroom will cost a lot of money. You know, the tips for young ladies are very large.

I set up a factory in 18, and I didn't take my customers to the ballroom once, so I got a good reputation. Those clients want to dance and play, and they won't come to me. They said that I "only write articles and am a bookworm."

No matter what they say, as long as I don't spend money, this is the principle of my business.

In particular, I want to shop around, which Spring Valley has done better than me.

In this respect, I suffered a big loss once.

Before Chungu came to the factory at that time, I was responsible for purchasing iron plates myself. I have been buying a wire drawing plate from Baosteel in a steel company in Shanghai. They said that this kind of steel plate is not available in the market and needs to be ordered in the future, so it has been operated for more than ten years.

Haruya came, and he told me that this kind of stretch sheet is in stock in the market, so it is not necessary to book futures, and the price can be reduced by 1000 yuan per ton. I buy at least 100 tons of this steel plate a year, so I spend 654.38+10,000 yuan more a year. I really don't know, and it's scary.

I broke up with that steel company.

Therefore, when doing business, be honest with each other. If we are dishonest and deceptive, we will not be able to do business for a long time. This is the most basic principle of doing business.
