Article 53 of the Supreme People's Court's Provisions on Several Issues Concerning the Trial of Futures Dispute Cases stipulates that futures companies' private hedging, gambling with customers and other behaviors that do not put customer orders into the market for trading shall be deemed invalid, and futures companies shall compensate customers for the resulting economic losses; If both the futures company and the customer are at fault, they shall bear corresponding liability for compensation according to the size of the fault.
