The School of Finance of Central University of Finance and Economics is one of the departments with the longest development history in New China and one of the earliest training bases for financial talents. The bank class was held at 1949, which was the first training point for bank cadres in China after the founding of New China. 1953 is the first batch of pilot institutions in China to recruit graduate students majoring in bank insurance; 1960, opening the first undergraduate major in finance in China. 1978 took the lead in resuming undergraduate enrollment in finance after resuming school; 1983, master students majoring in finance began to enroll students; 1994 set up the earliest securities and futures research institute in China; 1997 financial discipline was evaluated by the Ministry of Finance as the first batch of key disciplines in subordinate universities; 1998 was awarded the doctorate in finance; 200 1 Take the lead in setting up undergraduate major in financial engineering in China. 200 1 Finance was rated as a national key discipline by the Ministry of Education for the first time. In 2003, on the basis of the original finance department, the Finance College was restructured and established. In 2007, the discipline of finance passed the evaluation of national key disciplines again. In the same year, the applied economics of the Central University of Finance and Economics, covering two disciplines, 1 1, was recognized as a national key discipline by the Ministry of Education and became one of the four national key disciplines of applied economics. In the course of nearly 60 years' development, a group of experts and scholars with high reputation in academic circles have emerged, including Liu Guangdi, Yu Tianyi, Zhang Yuwen and Wang Peizhen in the older generation, Wang Guangqian, Zhang Liqing, Shi Jianping, Li Jian and He Qiang in the middle and young. Adhering to the motto of "loyalty, unity, truth-seeking and innovation", the College has closely integrated personnel training, scientific research and social services, and trained more than 20,000 senior professionals in the fields of finance, insurance and trade, making due contributions to China's modernization and reform and opening up.
