Dazhi is not the grandson of Qian Xuesen. Qian Xuesen's grandson is Lei Qian. Qian Xuesen, Han nationality, Shanghainese, originally from Hangzhou, Zhejiang. 1959 joined China, an aerodynamist, a system scientist, an academician of China Academy of Sciences, an academician of China Academy of Engineering, one of the founders of engineering cybernetics, and a winner of the two bombs and one satellite meritorious medal. Qian Xuesen 1934 graduated from department of mechanical engineering, Jiaotong University; From 65438 to 0935, he went to the United States for further study at boxer indemnity's expense for the seventh time. 1936 graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a master's degree, and then transferred to the Aviation Department of California Institute of Technology to study under Theodore von Kármán; 1939 received a doctorate in aviation and mathematics from California Institute of Technology, and then stayed on as a teacher.
