Didn't say the futures account was due. As long as your account is not cancelled, it will always exist. However, if the available funds in your account are less than 1000, and no transaction has been made within 1 year, the account will be dormant by the futures company.

The dormant account cannot be opened and can only be closed. If you have recently opened an account, but don't plan to trade in the near future, you can put some money into your account so that you won't sleep. If you need to make a transaction in the future, just log in to your account normally.
