Classic sentences and phrases in business contract writing

1. This contract is written in English and Chinese in quadruplicate. Both parties shall execute the English version and the Chinese version in duplicate, and both versions shall be equally valid.

The contract is made out in English and Chinese languages ??in quadruplicate, both texts being equally authentic, and each Party shall hold two copies of each text.

2. This contract is signed by both parties Signed by representatives on December 9, 1999. After the contract is signed, each party shall apply to its own government* for approval respectively. The date of approval by the last party shall be the effective date of this contract. Both parties shall strive to obtain approval within 60 days, notify the other party by telex, and confirm by letter. If this contract still fails to take effect within 6 months from the date of signature, both parties have the right to terminate this contract.

This contract is signed by the authorized representatives of both parties on Dec. 9, 1999. After signing the contract, both parties shall apply to their respective Government Authorities for ratification. The date of ratification last obtained shall be taken as the effective date of the Contract. Both parties shall exert their utmost efforts to obtain the ratification within 60 days and shall advise the other party by telex and thereafter send a registered letter for confirmation.

3. The contract is valid for ***10 years from the effective date of the contract. Upon expiration of the validity period, this contract will automatically expire.

The contract shall be valid for 10 years from the effective date of the contract, on the expiry of the validity term of contract, the contract shall automatically become null and void.

4 . When the term of this contract expires, the outstanding claims and debts incurred by both parties will not be affected by the expiration of the contract. The debtor shall continue to pay the outstanding debts to the creditor.

The outstanding claims and liabilities existing between both parties on the expiry of the validity of the contract shall not be influenced by the expiration of this contract. The debtor shall be kept liable until the debtor fully pays up his debts to the creditor.
