There are two courses to be tested for futures qualification. Candidates who pass the basic knowledge of futures and the examination of futures laws and regulations can obtain a certificate of qualification examination for futures practitioners. If you work in an operating institution engaged in futures business, your institution may apply to China Futures Association for qualification.

To obtain the qualification of futures practitioners, candidates need to take the qualification examination for futures practitioners, which is an introductory examination for futures practitioners organized by China Futures Association and also a national qualification examination. The examination includes three subjects: basic knowledge of futures, futures laws and regulations and futures investment analysis. The examination takes the form of closed-book computer examination, and all the questions are objective multiple-choice questions.
