First, after the prisoner is sent to prison, how long can the family members be allowed to meet?

Generally speaking, you are not allowed to meet each other during your study in prison. The study period in prison is three months, which should be the same all over the country. The prison law stipulates that prisoners can meet their relatives in accordance with the regulations during serving their sentences, and there is no specific date, which can be implemented in accordance with the regulations of each prison. Generally, there are relevant contents in the notice of admission to prison. Article 20 of the Prison Law stipulates that after a prisoner is put into prison, the prison shall notify the prisoner's family. The notice shall be issued within five days from the date of admission to prison. Article 48 stipulates that prisoners may meet their relatives and guardians in accordance with the regulations while serving their sentences in prison. After the prisoner enters the prison, the family members need to bring their ID cards and household registration books or neighborhood Committee certificates when they go to the prison to receive witnesses on weekdays before they can visit.

2. When will the family be notified after imprisonment?
