Louis Winthorpe III was a financier. He has a prominent position in Rudolf Mortimer Duke Brothers and is well paid. Black Billy is a tramp. In order to beg, he pretended to be disabled soldiers and begged in the street. Once, Billy was chased by the police. In desperation, he hid in a first-class club. Unfortunately, he ran into Louis Winsop, and Louis handed him over to the police. Duke Mortimer's brothers witnessed the whole process. The two brothers had different views on this matter and had an argument on the fate.
