What is the difference between the basic assets of financial futures and financial options?
The basic asset of financial futures is the corresponding index or bond. For example, the Shanghai and Shenzhen 300 stock index futures correspond to the Shanghai and Shenzhen 300 index, and the treasury bond futures correspond to a package of deliverable treasury bonds. The basic assets of financial options are generally financial futures contracts or general financial assets. For example, the underlying asset of the 50ETF option is the SSE 50ETF, and the target of the CSI 300 stock index option (not yet listed) is the CSI 300 stock index futures contract.
