Securities Association is an organization formed voluntarily by securities companies, other securities business service institutions and their personnel. Have their own independent property or fund, and its members jointly formulate the articles of association of the group. Its activities are not for profit.

According to the provisions of Article 162 of the Securities Law, the Securities Industry Association is a self-regulatory organization and a social legal person organization of the securities industry, which adopts a combination of voluntary membership and compulsory membership. Securities companies must join the Securities Industry Association, and members other than securities companies are voluntary members.

The power of the securities industry association is the general meeting of all members.

The following institutions can apply to join the Association and become special members of the Association:

1, stock exchanges, financial futures exchanges, securities registration and settlement institutions, securities investor protection fund companies, margin financing and securities lending institutions.

2 law firms, accounting firms and other intermediaries engaged in securities business.

3. Securities institutions in all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and cities under separate state planning.

4. Representative offices of overseas securities institutions in China approved by relevant regulatory authorities.

5. Other institutions engaged in securities-related business approved by China Securities Regulatory Commission.
