Books recommended for middle school students.
The following are some books that I personally recommend to middle school students based on my experience:

The Little Prince: This is the representative work of the French writer Saint Exupery, and it is an allegorical novel. It breaks the pattern of traditional children's literature and describes a story about growth, friendship and love with simple and profound language and imaginative pictures.

A Dream of Red Mansions: This is one of China's classic works and an important part of the world literature treasure house. It tells the story of the rise and fall of a wealthy family and the love story of two protagonists, revealing all kinds of drawbacks of feudal society and the complexity of human nature.

Pride and Prejudice: This is one of the representative works of Jane Austen, a British woman writer, and is regarded as one of the most important novels in English literature. It depicts the rural life and characters in England at that time with humorous and meticulous brushwork, and discusses topics such as personal character, family morality and social values.

1984: This is a dystopian novel by British writer George Orwell, which tells the story of a fictional totalitarian society. Through the analysis and criticism of the political and social discourse system, the novel finally presents philosophical thinking on human nature, freedom and truth.

Harry Potter series: this is the best-selling series of novels by British writer J.K. Rowling, telling the story of a magical world. This series describes the growth process of a group of teenagers, such as Harry Potter, and reflects their courage, wisdom and indomitable quality in the face of difficulties.
