Can a futures company publicly issue funds?
Futures companies cannot directly issue funds to the public. However, a futures company may set up a fund company to apply for a public offering fund license, and after obtaining a public offering fund license, issue a public offering fund through the established fund company. At present, the fund companies of Southern and Da Rui futures companies have obtained public offering licenses.

To apply for being the manager of a publicly offered fund, the applicant shall meet the conditions stipulated in the Interim Provisions on the Administration of Publicly Offered Securities Investment Funds by Asset Management Institutions:

At least 3 years experience in securities asset management, and the securities products managed in the last 3 years have good performance;

Perfect corporate governance, sound internal control and effective risk management;

In the last three years, it has a good operating condition and a sound financial situation;

Integrity and compliance, no record of major violations of laws and regulations in the regulatory authorities in the last three years, no investigation by the regulatory authorities for violations of laws and regulations, or in the process of rectification;

Is a member of the fund industry association;

Other conditions stipulated by the China Securities Regulatory Commission.
