1. Opening an account

I bring my ID card and 9 yuan money (generally I don't accept it) to open an account in your most convenient securities business department and apply for a shareholder card. Remember your account number and password (you need this password to transfer money).

You can also open an account online, prepare your ID card, mobile phone and computer (connected to the internet, with microphone and camera), then go to official website, a securities company, find the connection to open an account online, and just follow the prompts.

2. Get a bank card

Open an account in a bank designated by the securities business department, remember the password (this password is needed for money transfer), deposit the funds you want to stock, and sign a third-party entrustment agreement and warrant trading agreement.

3. Bank-securities transfer

According to an instruction given to you by the securities business department, call to transfer your stock funds in the bank to your stock account.

4. Download trading software

According to the securities company to which the securities business department belongs, download stock trading software and quotation software and install them on any computer in your office, dormitory or home. For example, if you open an account with China Merchants Securities, you can download the stock software from the website of China Merchants Securities. Novices in the stock market should not rush to enter the market, but learn more first. You can go to the Ranger stock market to simulate stock trading and learn the basic things first, which is very helpful for getting started and practicing practical skills.

5. Start trading

Enter the trading software and start trading. Click on "Stock Trading", fill in the business department, stock account number and password, and you can enter the trading procedure.

note: stocks should be bought at least 1 shares, or multiples of 1 shares. At present, the cheapest stock is also 2 yuan, plus .5% handling fee, you can get more than 3 yuan.

Shanghai stocks (code starts with 6) can only be traded on the second day after the account is opened and the funds are transferred by telephone; Shenzhen stock (code starts with ) can be traded on the day you open an account and transfer funds.

The domestic stock market is a T+1 system, that is, the stocks bought on the same day can't be sold until the next trading day, and the money sold on the same day can be bought again immediately, but it can't be transferred to the bank card until the next trading day.
