During the years of construction, the School of Finance has always adhered to the discipline construction as the center, persisted in teaching reform, vigorously cultivated and introduced talents, strived to improve the level of teaching and scientific research and the quality of personnel training, actively exerted its professional and disciplinary advantages, provided professional services to the society, and formed some of its own disciplinary advantages and characteristics. With the unremitting efforts of teachers, students and staff, our college has developed into the largest financial professional training base and financial academic research base in Shandong Province, and the financial discipline has always been in the undisputed leading position in the province. This discipline was identified as the key discipline in the 11th Five-Year Plan of Shandong Province, and in 2008 it was identified as the only "Taishan Scholar" post setting unit in the financial discipline. 20 1 1 was further identified as the key discipline in the 12th Five-Year Plan of Shandong Province, and the college finance major was successively identified as the characteristic major in the 11th Five-Year Plan and the 12th Five-Year Plan of Shandong Province and the Ministry of Education. Up to now, it has formed advantageous research directions such as modern financial development theory, regional finance, capital market and investment, exchange rate theory and international investment and financing, and rural finance. New advantages and characteristic research directions such as financial engineering and risk management, enterprise financing and financial measurement are gradually taking shape. According to incomplete statistics, in the last five years alone, teachers in our college have completed more than 600 scientific research achievements, including more than 200 papers published in core journals and above, and many papers have been reprinted by Xinhua Digest. After years of construction and development, the school-running conditions of our college have also been significantly improved. At present, the material resources of teaching and scientific research are at the first-class level in the province and at the more advanced level in China. The college now has laboratories such as financial comprehensive business simulation, financial outsourcing service innovation (the focus of provincial universities) and banking business simulation. At present, the main part of the laboratory only located on campus (some of which are located in financial enterprises that jointly build key laboratories) has an area of more than 400 square meters, with about 300 computers and peripheral supporting equipment, which can completely simulate various business sectors such as banking, securities, insurance and international finance. At the same time, it is equipped with seven financial dynamic databases and a global financial transaction satellite real-time receiving system. In view of the fact that the innovation laboratory of financial service outsourcing has been identified as the key laboratory of provincial universities, our hospital plans to update and transform the laboratory system as a whole. According to the transformation goal, the experimental conditions of the newly-built financial discipline in our college will reach the domestic first-class level, and some experimental conditions will be at the domestic leading level because of the originality of its content. In addition to all kinds of laboratories, our institute has also established about 20 off-campus practice and practice bases in cooperation with financial institutions stationed in the economy. The existing resource allocation can fully meet the needs of teaching and scientific research under the framework of financial discipline.

In participating in the national student professional competition, the students in our college have also achieved impressive results. For example, in 2009, our school's team, mainly students from Finance College, won the first place in East China for group stock index futures investment, the second place in East China for foreign exchange investment, the third place in East China for futures investment and the first place in East China for individual stock index futures projects, which also showed our school's professional teaching level and students' professional quality.
