Propylene is usually a by-product of refining refined oil or cracking to produce ethylene. Propane dehydrogenation provides a new technical path, that is, propane replaces various distillate oils as raw materials to produce propylene centrally.
Dehydrogenation of propane to propylene monomer is an important way to produce propylene. Propane to propylene needs to be treated by dehydrogenation unit, in which the cost of raw propane accounts for about 90% of the total cost.
The economy of this method mainly depends on the price difference between propane and propylene. Most propane in China depends on foreign imports, and the propane dehydrogenation projects under construction are basically projects that sign agreements with foreign manufacturers.
