It has become an irreversible reality to rely on imported oil for a long time to meet the needs of sustainable development of the national economy. In the absence of a major breakthrough in energy technology, the key to ensuring China's oil security is to ensure China's oil import security. In view of the problems existing in China's oil import at present, to ensure the safety of China's oil import in the future, we must do well in three aspects: first, actively carry out "oil diplomacy", coordinate the oil trade competition between oil-producing countries and consumer countries, and ensure the continuity and stability of oil import sources; Second, actively improve relations with the United States, Southeast Asia and other countries, vigorously develop the navy and tanker scale, and ensure the national transportation of oil, thus ensuring the transportation safety of imported oil; Third, it is necessary to further improve the domestic oil price pricing mechanism and accelerate the development of the oil futures market to cope with the impact of large fluctuations in international oil prices on oil imports. Fourth, we should establish China's strategic petroleum reserve system.
