If you want to open an account in a bank in Hong Kong, you need materials: personal mainland ID card, proof of address in Hong Kong and the mainland (personal property certificate, water, electricity and gas list), personal passport (all withdrawals are based on passport) and HSBC 5000 Hong Kong dollars (minimum deposit), but ATM cards in Hong Kong cannot withdraw money in the mainland. Only the credit cards of Hong Kong banks can withdraw money in the Mainland.
