How does photovoltaic industry deal with European and American markets?
The debt crisis in Europe and America is both a challenge and an opportunity. China should make decisive use of the European debt crisis, take precautions and take the initiative to lay the foundation for the development of photovoltaic industry in China and even China's economy. Forward-looking Industry Research Institute believes that China photovoltaic industry-related enterprises should do the following to deal with the European and American markets:

First, correctly guide photovoltaic enterprises to invest abroad, and enhance the international voice of China's photovoltaic industry. Taking advantage of the debt crisis in Europe and America, European and American countries are eager to promote exports to reverse the trade deficit, vigorously introduce foreign advanced photovoltaic technology, or invest in European and American high-tech enterprises by means of shareholding and mergers and acquisitions, so as to enhance the competitiveness of China photovoltaic enterprises. At the same time, China's photovoltaic enterprises are appropriately encouraged to invest and build factories in European and American countries, and directly invest in RMB to speed up the internationalization of photovoltaic enterprises in order to avoid trade risks.

The second is to improve the export risk protection mechanism and improve the international discourse power of China photovoltaic products. In recent years, the drastic change of exchange rate has seriously eroded the profit rate of photovoltaic products. The government should improve the export risk protection mechanism as soon as possible and provide more risk management tools for banks and enterprises. Photovoltaic enterprises should also take precautions: first, predict the trend of exchange rate changes and adjust exchange rate fluctuations in order contracts as soon as possible; Second, make full use of financial derivatives such as forward settlement and sale of foreign exchange, RMB and foreign currency swap and futures market hedging to avoid exchange rate risks; Third, take advantage of the strong competitiveness of China's photovoltaic products, strive to settle accounts in RMB, even if some concessions are made in price, and gradually improve the international voice of China's photovoltaic products. The government must actively and vigorously support this and promote the internationalization of the RMB.

The third is to guide reasonably, cultivate the investment enthusiasm of photovoltaic power plants and expand domestic demand. Under a specific internal rate of return, photovoltaic project investment may become an effective tool for investment preservation and be favored by the capital market. Because the products of photovoltaic projects are production necessities, their returns will continue to occur in the next few decades. Therefore, stimulating investment in photovoltaic power plants is also likely to become one of the means for European and American countries to promote their own economic development. China should implement the Renewable Energy Law as soon as possible, introduce China's photovoltaic on-grid tariff law, and clarify the grid-connected and large-scale application of photovoltaic power generation.

Fourth, actively prepare to deal with trade disputes and fight a good trade war. Trade disputes may increase and even develop normally. Therefore, we should constantly improve the response mechanism, actively study the characteristics of WTO rules and anti-dumping and countervailing policies and regulations of various countries, build an early warning system and response mechanism, adjust ourselves, and calmly deal with similar trade challenges in the future. At the same time, give full play to the strength of China Photovoltaic Industry Alliance and other industry organizations, communicate with enterprises on a regular basis, do a good job in policy suggestions and communication and publicity, integrate enterprise resources, and work together to deal with international trade disputes.
