Is it legal to open a futures exchange privately?
The opening of private futures exchanges is illegal, and the establishment and approval are approved by the CSRC. At present, there are only four futures exchanges in China.

The only formal futures companies in China are Dalian Commodity Exchange, Shanghai Futures Exchange, China Financial Exchange (Silver), stock index futures, treasury bonds futures, and options trading to be listed soon. Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange covers agricultural products, chemicals and ferrous metals, which is illegal.
