At present, the employment of college students has attracted more and more attention, and "employment difficulty" has become the focus of discussion. As a sophomore majoring in international trade, it is necessary for us to make a survey on the graduation flow of this major and see what we need to do now to win more chips for the fierce competition in future employment.
The data collection of this research work is divided into three parts. First of all, the author interviewed my senior who graduated from our school in 2000. This senior is a student majoring in international trade in the School of Economics and Management. I got a double degree in English before graduation, and now I am working in party member in a foreign trade company. She briefly introduced her classmates after graduation: classmate A joined a state-owned enterprise with different majors in order to stay in Tianjin after graduation; Student B entered a well-known listed state-owned enterprise in Tianjin with the advantage of double degree in English. Classmate c has become a big importer and exporter of foreign-funded enterprises because of his outstanding practical work ability; Classmate Ding chose to pursue further studies. The above is a microcosm of the graduation destination of senior students, and it also objectively reflects my professional employment direction, but after all, only a few people can not fully explain the employment situation of international trade major.
In view of the above reasons, in order to obtain official information about employment prospects, the author logged on the postgraduate website of Fudan University and personally visited the postgraduate office of China Renmin University. The above two universities have a high position in the field of applied economics, and the major of international trade is a national key discipline. According to the data released by Fudan University, the employment destinations of international trade graduates mainly include accounting firms, banks, foreign trade companies, securities companies, futures companies, foreign-funded enterprises and foreign-related economic departments of the government. The message given by Renmin University is the same: In recent years, in addition to banks, securities, insurance, import and export companies, private enterprises and other financial institutions, foreign trade institutions and corporate enterprises, there are more and more branches of domestic foreign-related enterprises and multinational companies in China, such as the four internationally renowned accounting firms. To sum up, the employment prospects of international trade graduates are optimistic.
