The above passage is my favorite Yang's words. Some people say that Yang is dull and inflexible. If he was willing to take Xiankoubu's advice, maybe there wouldn't be such an ending. But I want to say that this is the biggest bright spot in Yang's personal character, and he pursues democracy in the true sense, even if he loses his life.
At this review meeting, Yang also explained the above sentence:
"The country is not an individual formed by cell division, but a group of individuals with subjective consciousness. Under this premise, which is the main one? What should I do? This is a self-evident truth in a democratic society. 」
"Without a country, people can still live; But without the people, the country would not exist. 」
Doesn't this sentence represent the spiritual pursuit of Yang Yisheng?
