The China Insurance Regulatory Commission and the the State Council Poverty Alleviation Office recently issued the Opinions on Doing a Good Job in Helping the Poor by the Insurance Industry, which clarified the objectives, tasks and methods of insurance poverty alleviation.

The document is divided into five parts, 2 1, such as "general requirements" and "accurately matching diversified insurance needs for poverty alleviation", which comprehensively and systematically expounds the role that insurance should play in poverty alleviation and the preparations and support needed by all parties to realize this role.

This is a resounding response from the China Insurance Regulatory Commission to the national poverty alleviation work after the announcement of the decision to win the poverty alleviation battle in the State Council, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China at the end of last year, which also means that a poverty alleviation battle involving the insurance industry has officially started.
