Zhou Lingfei, the eldest grandson of Lu Xun and the eldest son of Zhou Haiying, was born in Beijing in 1953 and graduated from Beijing Jingshan School in 1969.

In 1980, he went abroad for further studies and went to Japan's Fuji Television Station to study electronic media.

In 1982, she went to Taiwan to get married, and in 1999, she returned to mainland China to work.

He is currently the president and secretary-general of the Lu Xun Cultural Foundation, chairman of the Shanghai Lu Xun Cultural Development Center, director of the Lu Xun and World Culture Research Institute of Beijing Language and Culture University, and visiting professor of the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts.

In the past twenty years, he has been mainly engaged in the cultural public welfare work of spreading and popularizing Lu Xun. He has written and published long theoretical articles such as "Who is Lu Xun", "What is Lu Xun's surname", and "Let Lu Xun go home". In 2002, he founded the Shanghai Lu Xun Cultural Development Center.

The Lu Xun Research Center of Tongji University was established in 2009, and the national Lu Xun Cultural Foundation was established in 2012. On March 26, 2021, the Lu Xun and World Culture Research Institute of Beijing Language and Culture University was established, and Mr. Zhou Lingfei was appointed as the director of the institute.
