Essence Securities has a background as a central enterprise, and its current major shareholder is State-owned Investment Capital. Last year, SDIC Capital and its subsidiaries increased their investment in Essence Securities by nearly 6 billion yuan, bringing Essence Securities’ registered capital to more than 10 billion yuan. After the capital increase is completed, the shareholding ratio of State-owned Investment Capital will be 99.9969%. SDIC is involved in many financial fields and has obvious group advantages.

Essence Securities’ investment banking business revenue was 674 million yuan, a significant increase of 72.68% compared with the same period last year, ranking first among all main businesses. Investment banking business revenue ranked 12th in the industry, jumping 8 places year-on-year.
